In order to get the fleur de lis to brand on one side of the bread, you have to scortch the other side. It's cheap plastic china crap. Good idea, but poorly executed.

We are very excited about getting this cool breakfast machine. Who wouldn't want to sport their team pride on their breakfast toast!?! Who doesn't want to rub opposing fans noses about our teams glory during breakfast!?! I know I do.
The toaster itself is not bad, besides it being made of plastic. It does leave the Fluer De Lis on the toast, but you have to adjust the temp setting to where you don't burn the other-side of the bread. It may require two attempts, but it will toast the bread without scorching to badly.
My only other disappointment with this machine is that it's Made in China. NFL teams are American pride, our gear should be made by Americans, in the USA.
Otherwise, we are satisfied with this toaster and when it goes Kaput, it will go from the kitchen to the Saints Shrine Room.

I like the toaster. I got it for my boyfriend who is the biggest steeler fan. I am always looking for new steelers merchandise because he has everything so when I saw this I had to get it. I can read the symbol on the bread. I think it is more for fun than function. It works as a toaster, but I don't think it would work well for thicker things like bagels. My boyfriend said he made a waffle and the symbol did not show up but toasted it great. I did not have any trouble with bread not fitting so I don't know what the other review was about.

Very disappointed! You think you're getting a quality product, but it's really a plastic toaster that will, kinda, make your team's logo. I bought two as Christmas gifts, but I'm embarrassed to actually give them to anyone. The plastic casings are marked and scuffed, and the NFL and team logos are stuck on with, what looks like, industrial strength double sided tape. Oh, and the logos shipped bent and curled.
If your a sports fan, or your buying for a sports fan, spend your hard earned cash on something else but ProToast products.

Thought this would be a nice gift for the sports fan that has everything. But first, a piece of classic Wonderbread was too large to fit all of the way into the toaster. Second, you have to burn your toast to get the image to appear. Plus with the wonderbread since it didn't fit all of the way down I also had a burned "frame" around the top part of the bread. Good thing I tested it before I gift wrapped it.
